Acrobatic Pointers
This page is about some things to understand and practice to learn acrobatics on a CP Helicopter. If you have a FP or coaxial . . . sorry, you can't fly any of these acrobatics (except funnels).
First off, when inverted, forwards and backwards controls are opposite (similar to nose in hovering). To go forward (relative to the helicopter), you must pull back on your cyclic stick, not push forward. This is because lift is negative now, and pushing forward on the cyclic would lower the nose. When you are inverted, this would equate to raising the nose and going backwards.
