Once you start advancing into collective pitch helis, Heli Gear becomes more and more important. Things like a charger, radio, and varying batteries are all important. Check out the links below to get started!
The Heli Radio is just about as important as the RC Heli. After all, you can't have one without the other. Check out this page to learn about computerized radios, as well as how to do a range check!
Once you begin to have a few helis, a quality computerized charger becomes very important and incredibly convenient. No longer do you need to carry around all your battery chargers and scour the house looking for power outlets to plug in another charger. Although pricey, the low-budget flier can get a decent one that will satisfy all charging needs up to about 450 size helis for around $100. Not necessary for beginner pilots, but vital once you progress out of a few, small battery helis. (under construction!)
